Toddler Fashion - October

Elliot has been a bit of a lucky boy recently - we got him lots of new clothes when we were on holiday in Florida so his wardrobe is looking pretty full at the moment!

We had a birthday party to go to last weekend and this is what he wore:

Elliot trendy Tot Thursday

Elliot trendy Tot Thursday2

Grey Dinosaur Sweatshirt - Nutmeg @ Morrisons
Blue trainers - Nike
Skinny Jeans - Old Navy
Blue puffer gilet - Old Navy

The dinosaur sweatshirt was a present from my sister and it's such a lovely jumper, really cosy but not too thick that he's going to overheat with the changeable Autumn weather.

We picked up the rest of the outfit in Florida after a quick trip to the outlet shops and we got some really good bargains. The trainers were around $12 I think, so cheap! And we needed comfy trainers to walk round the theme parks so they were definitely a good buy!

I love this outfit, he just so grown up and the skinny jeans just make him look even taller than he already is, he'll be overtaking me in no time!

Trendy Tot Thursday - 14th May 2015

I've not done a Trendy Tot Thursday link up for a while so I thought I'd do a triple whammy of outfits! We were away on holiday at Butlins last week so Elliot had some new t-shirts to wear, I think he looks very smart!

1. Denim Jacket - Gap Kids
One in a Minion T-shirt - Nutmeg @ Morrisons
Grey Jeans - Nutmeg @ Morrisons
Starry trainers - M&Co

2. Always Smiling Mr Happy t-shirt - Debenhams

3. Denim Jacket, as before
Mr Tumble T-shirt - purchased at the live show
Blue cargo shorts - Tesco
Minions trainers - Tesco

The denim jacket has featured several times on the blog but I do love it, it's perfect for this time of year when it's not quite cold enough for a coat but you just want something lightweight to put on. And it fits Elliot much better now than when my mum first bought it for him last Autumn!

Elliot's Mr Tumble t-shirt has attracted so many nice comments and it has been well worn since we bought it last month at the live show. We almost didn't buy it (it was a bit expensive!) but really glad we did, he loves wearing it and I think the colour really suits him. He had at least 3 children shout "Mr Tumble!" at him last week!

Trendy Tot Thursday

Elliot doesn't normally show much interest in clothes, he wears what I pick out and we never get any complaints. But yesterday we were out shopping in Southampton and I popped into H&M, he spotted a t-shirt and that was it, we hd to buy it! He was so excited and wouldn't put it down - and he got even more excited when I let him wear it this morning!!

Navy bodywarmer - Primark
Batman Hoody - M & S (More about that here!)
Jungle Book t-shirt - H&M
Grey jeans - Nutmeg @ Morrisons

As you can see, it's a pretty cool Jungle Book t-shirt, I've not spotted one like this before! It's nice because the image goes all the way round the tshirt onto the back and Elliot has spent lots of time this morning admiring his reflection in the mirror!

The bodywarmer is getting a bit tight now but it's handy just to put on if we're popping out somewhere, and it looks really nice over a hoody. The sizing wasn't very accurate though - I had to get Elliot 3-4 and I do find the sizes in Primark to be a bit dodgy.

Trendy Tot Thursday

In a break from the norm Elliot isn't dressed exclusively by Sainsbury's today! We've gone upmarket ;)

We can never resist a cute hoody and my mum picked up this one in the Marks and Spencer sale. It's great quality and I love the ears!! Elliot's been saying "Batmaaaaaaan!" all day.

Batman Hoody - M & S
Green T-shirt - Ralph Lauren
Jeans - Sainsburys (of course!)
Skeleton socks - H &M

The dark green t-shirt is Ralph Lauren and part of the amazing bundle of items my husband picked up in Las Vegas. It says XS 4-5 but apart from being a little long, it fits him fine now. And I need to make sure he's getting his money's worth!

I wouldn't normally mention socks in a #TT_Thursday post but I love these ones, they look cool plus they have grips on the bottom which is a lifesaver when you have laminate floors!

Trendy Tot Thursday - sponsored by The Gruffalo!

Today's outfit could pretty much be sponsored by Sainsburys!! Everything you can see in the pic, plus his tshirt underneath was bought there. It is my favourite place to buy little boys clothes, everything is such great quality and it is even better when they have their 25% discount offers! And as you can tell, we love the Gruffalo :)

The coat is great because it's not too bulky. I prefer to layer him up underneath rather than have it get too hot with a big thick winter coat - the only thing I would change is make is slightly longer as his bum is always on show!!

The trousers are perfect for a day at the farm like we had today, they don't show the dirt too much and they also tuck into his wellies. I struggle getting his wellies on with jeans!

Trendy Tot Thursday

My husband visited Las Vegas on business last week and he managed to pick up lots of lovely tops for Elliot - some of the designer bits were so cheap! As you know from previous #TT_Thursday , we are big fans of the supermarket clothes ranges for kids but sometimes it's nice to have something a bit more special!

Jumper - Ralph Lauren (reduced to $14 in the sale!)
Jeans - TU @ Sainsburys
Stomposaurus shoes - Clarks

My husband wasn't sure about the sizes when he went shopping and the jumper said S but theres ton of room in it and I know he'll get loads of wear out of it next winter too. It's really soft and I love the colours, it makes him look like a little bumble bee!

The jeans are our favourite ones from Sainsburys, they fit him so well and wash brilliantly!

Trendy Tot Thursday

Elliot has a lot of clothes...and I seem to be forever buying new stuff to add to his collection! I went into Morrison's yesterday and picked up lots of lovely items in the Nutmeg kids clothes sale (might do a separate blog post about that soon!) and I'm sure this will be the first of many Trendy Tot Thursdays featuring Morrisons outfits.

Skull & Crossbones jumper - Nutmeg @ Morrisons
Jeans- TU @ Sainsburys
Stomposaurus shoes - Clarks

I've said it before but the supermarket clothes ranges for kids are brilliant - who wants to spend a fortune when they grow so fast!! The jumper was in the sale and I paid £4 which I thought was a bargain, it's really good quality and I love the piratey theme.

Trendy Tot Thursday

It's that time of week again when I look back at Elliot's outfits and pick our favourite. Just checked my pictures and they are mostly of Elliot wearing pyjamas so that's what we are featuring this week! Here is our favourite:

Roar!

Gruffalo's Child Pyjamas - TU @ Sainsburys

You might not have guessed but we are Gruffalo mad in this house and every time I visit Sainsbury's I just have to buy another Gruffalo related outfit! The quality of these pj's is really good, much like all the stuff we buy from Sainsbury's and the sizing pretty spot on. Elliot is dressing up as the Gruffalo's child for his birthday party so he loved these! Within minutes of getting them on, Elliot was stomping around the house roaring!

Trendy Tot Thursday

I've been a bit slack on the Trendy Tot Thursday link-ups but here is my outfit of the week!

E.T T-shirt - George @ Asda
Black skinny jeans - George @ Asda
Spiderman trainers - George @ Asda
Denim Jacket - Gap Kids

My mum picked up this little denim jacket from the Gap sale back in the Summer and I couldn't wait for the weather to turn colder so Elliot could wear it. The sizing is very small (this is an aged 4) but at the moment it fits perfectly and I think Elliot looks very cute! My husband thought it looked a bit 80s but he's obviously never owned a denim jacket ;)

The ET t-shirt was another item where the sizing was very small - this is a 3-4 and it should swamp Elliot but actually he's just about grown out of this one!!

Trendy Tot Thursday

I'm a big fan of cool tshirts on Elliot and I thought what better way to show them off by taking part in Trendy Tot Thursday #TT_Thursday on Twitter! Everyweek I'll be posting a pic of my outfit of the week....most likely to be a shorts and tshirt combo!

This week, my favourite outfit was this:

T-shirt - Next
Shorts - Tu @ Sainsburys
Trainers - George @ Asda

You can't see it on the pic but the back of the tshirt has sticky out dinosaur spikes which Elliot loves! The shorts have been worn to death this summer already but they go with everything and they wash really well, you can't fault Sainsbury's clothes for kids.

Check back next Thursday for our next outfit post :)
