Cool Tops for Baby Girls

I'll just start by saying that I am the least girly girl there is - fashion baffles me and my wardrobe is generally made of shirts, hoodies and jeans! When I discovered I was having a baby girl, I did have a initial panic - girly stuff, eeeeek!!! That only got worse when I started looking at all the cute baby clothes in the shops - so.much.pink.stuff.

Fortunately, I've since managed to find soooo many nice things that aren't too fussy and girly. I'm not completely opposed to pink but you'll notice there's a distinct lack of pinkness on my outfit choices below!

I absolutely love the Unicorn sweatshirt from Zara and I'm definitely going to be picking one of those up for the new arrival. I've never shopped in Zara before but I've discovered they have some really lovely baby bits so I'll definitely be popping in the next time I'm in Southampton!

Autumn Fashions with Elliot!

I've kind of been in denial that Summer is over and we've all been in our shorts and t-shirts up to very recently still! This week has been decidedly chiller though so I've been forced to retire the Summer clothes and dig out the jeans and jumpers. The only problem with that though is that Elliot seems to have had a massive growth spurt since Spring and all his trousers are now like ankle swingers!! He was still able to get away with aged 2-3 in shorts over the Summer but definitely not in trousers.

So this meant we needed to do some shopping! Fortunately there are some great things in the Supermarket ranges at the mo so we headed to Tesco where I found a sale on, woo! This is what Elliot picked:

Jeans - Tesco £5
Secret Life of Pets Tshirt - Tesco £3.50 (reduced from £7)
Cactus hoody Tesco £3 (reduced from £7)
Trainers - Brantano

I personally think the dog on the t-shirt is wearing a g string haha! But Elliot loves Secret Life of Pets so he really wanted this t-shirt and he's already worn it twice this week so its already a favourite!

I love the Cactus hoody, and I think the colour really suits him. The jeans were a bit too long but this was a better option than his previous ankle swingers! And least he'll get a couple of years wear out of them ;)

I also got Elliot a really nice Spiderman raincoat which was half price at £7. His current raincoat is getting really small (he's been wearing it for the last 2 years!) so definitely time for a new one. It's got a nice fleecy lining too which will keep him snug over the next few months when it's not quite cold enough for his winter coat.

Have you picked up any bargains in the sales recently?

New T-shirts for Spring #WeekendTotStyle #10

I love this time of year when all the shops start getting in their new stock for the Spring/Summer range. I have seen so many nice things but it seems crazy to think about buying shorts when we're only just into April so I'm resisting on that front!

T-shirts is one of my weaknesses though, Elliot looks so cute in a cool t-shirt and jeans and his wardrobe is full of them. But I couldn't help but pick up some new ones this week. Thought it was only fair to update his wardrobe for the new season ;)

Please excuse the photos, I had good intentions of taking lovely photos but the t-shirts were worn and were dirty before I'd had the chance to take anything decent!

Crocodile t-shirt - Morrisons
Green hoody - Trespass

I love the Morrison's clothing range for kids, everything is great value and always washes really well. I picked up this croc t-shirt, I think it was only about £4 but it was an instant hit with Elliot! It goes really well with his green Trespass hoody that has been worn constantly recently.

Pirate t-shirt - Morrisons

Apologies for crap picture but this is the only one I took of him wearing it! Loved the nautical vibe of this one, and Elliot loves pirates. Again, this t-shirt was under a fiver but it's such great quality - it feels really soft and I'm sure it will wash well!

Gruffalo t-shirt - TU @ Sainsburys

It's no secret that we love the Gruffalo and when I spotted this t-shirt in Sainsburys I had to get it for Elliot! Because you can never have enough Gruffalo t-shirts....! Love the colour of this one, thought it was very summery.

Smartening Up.....#WeekendTotStyle #5

Elliot's wardrobe consists mainly of jeans and t-shirts (much like mine!) and this is perfect for him, he's always on the go so it's important that he's comfy. But sometimes, something smarter is needed! This weekend we attended the blessing of a friend's baby and it was the perfect opportunity for a new outfit!

Navy Chinos - Next £11
Navy Canvas trainers - Sports Direct £8.99

I think he looks so cute in this!! He loved the bow tie too, he kept telling people "I'm wearing a bow tie!".

I added his trusty little denim jacket which my mum bought him two years ago from Gap (Look at him here wearing it, he looks so small!). It's getting a bit small now but it's safe to say we've definitely got our moneys worth!!

I'm normally the one behind the camera so it's nice to have some photos of us together for a change!
